Carmen Carigan

Carmen Carigan has been getting mistaken for her dad over the phone since the year 1997. Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio and now living in New York City, Carmen has cultivated a passion for comedy and performance from a very young age.

Currently, Carigan is touring her two-person sketch comedy hour “PRESSED” and performing to sold-out crowds in Washington, DC, Chicago, and New York City. Carigan also co-hosts, writes and edits “Liability on the Mic” with Chicago standup and college friend Liz Evans, which has 20 episodes available on Spotify, Apple Music, etc.

Professionally, Carigan wears two hats: she works closely with accomplished producer Lauren Mandel as she launches her production company "Disco Nap," owning content strategy, creation, and account engagement for shows under the company's umbrella. She also helps with live show production, partnership proposals, company expansion strategy, and more for Disco Nap. She has worked on the Las Culturistas’ Culture Awards, DAD, Cabernet Cabaret with Cat Cohen, and currently associate produces “Worse Than You with Mo Fry Pasic.” Additionally, she co-creates the content strategy, copy writes for, and manage analytics across all of Comedy Central Stand-Up's social media platforms.

She has played a deranged neighbor who has completely ruined a murder mystery party. She's mimed a high school romance to Eric Clapton's song "Wonderful Tonight." She's ranged from an undercover mom, a dry commercial director, and a Staten Island middle child who has a bone to pick. The commonality in all of Carigan's work is that she fills up the room with her unique voice and commitment to her characters.

Carmen is interested in creative roles in the late night entertainment space that allow her 'jack of all trades' experience and talents to serve her team. She is available for and interested in acting, writing, and voiceover roles.
